Own the product roadmap and the “what to build” for an AI-native real-estate platform that 2,000+ sales agents and thousands of renters depend on daily. In an AI-native shop the bottleneck is deciding what to build, not writing code — so you are the upstream decision-maker and the accountable human approval gate. Agents and one senior engineer build fast; you decide what is worth building and sign off on what ships.

What you’ll do

  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap end-to-end; turn business goals from leadership, sales, ops and CS into clear specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Be the human approval gate — final sign-off on PRDs, acceptance criteria, roadmap changes and release notes (AI agents may draft them; you approve).
  • Run discovery with the 2,000+ sales agents, the data-entry, CS and ops teams; convert real workflows (listings, search, deposits, CRM) into prioritized tickets.
  • Define success metrics, instrument them, and make evidence-based scope and trade-off decisions.
  • Keep the ticket queue triaged and unblocked; partner daily with the senior engineer and AI agents.

Must-have (real production experience)

  • 4+ years in product management shipping B2B/SaaS or marketplace software that real users depend on in production — not prototypes or internal demos.
  • A demonstrable track record owning a roadmap and shipping features end-to-end with measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent written specs and acceptance criteria; fluent working in a ticket-driven workflow (Jira / Linear / equivalent).
  • Data literacy: you define metrics, read dashboards, and make calls from evidence.
  • Comfortable using AI tools / agentic workflows, and willing to be the accountable human who reviews and signs off on AI-drafted artifacts.
  • Strong written English (our technical docs and specs are in English); Vietnamese is a plus for local stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

  • Real-estate / proptech, CRM, or two-sided marketplace experience.
  • Experience shipping LLM-powered features (chat assistants, search, evaluation loops).
  • Technical background — can read a data schema and reason about APIs.

You are the senior engineer who owns architecture, the agent harness, and the merge button for the whole platform. You will not hand-write every feature — you direct AI coding agents to build, then review for architectural soundness and own everything that reaches production. This is a high-leverage, high-ownership role: think “agent wrangler”, not “ticket cruncher”.

What you’ll do

  • Own system architecture and high-judgment technical decisions across a Next.js + Firebase + OpenSearch stack.
  • Build and harden the agent harness — the workflows, prompts/skills, guardrails, CI and safety rails that let AI agents ship code safely.
  • Own the final code review and the merge button: humans own deployed code. Review for interfaces and architecture, not style.
  • Own production reliability, security gates (customer PII, deposit/money flows), data migrations, and release approval.
  • Set the verification bar together with the test engineers; enable shift-left testing so agents self-correct against tests before code reaches the pipeline.

Must-have (real production experience)

  • 5+ years building AND operating production web systems that real users depend on — you have owned services in production, not just written code.
  • Deep TypeScript and modern React / Next.js (App Router) experience.
  • Strong backend: Node.js, serverless / cloud functions, a real production database (Firestore / NoSQL or SQL), and pragmatic API design.
  • Cloud + DevOps: CI/CD, deployments, observability and incident response (we run Firebase App Hosting + Cloud Functions).
  • You have made architecture decisions and lived with their consequences; you reason clearly about data models, security and scale.
  • Hands-on, enthusiastic user of AI coding agents (Claude Code / Codex / Cursor-style) — you can direct, review and correct AI-generated code at a senior level.
  • A security mindset appropriate for a system handling customer PII and deposits.

Nice-to-have

  • Firebase / GCP and OpenSearch / Elasticsearch (search relevance) in production.
  • AWS database experience (RDS / Aurora / DynamoDB) and other production data stores.
  • LLM application engineering: RAG, evaluations, agent orchestration.
  • Prior lead / staff role, or having solo-owned the technology of a real product.

Verification is the primary human quality gate for AI-generated code at HiFriendz — and the dominant engineering role on the team (we are hiring several). You are not a script-runner: you define what “correct” means before agents build, hunt the edge cases AI misses, and gate what ships to 2,000+ sales agents and their customers.

What you’ll do

  • Own test specifications and acceptance verification — define correctness before an agent builds a feature.
  • Adversarial, edge-case and exploratory testing of agent-generated changes across the listings, search, deposits/CRM and customer-support workflows.
  • Build and maintain automated tests (unit / integration / e2e) and the regression gates that agent code must clear before merge.
  • Manual UAT of real Vietnamese real-estate workflows; reproduce, triage and report issues clearly and actionably through the ticket system.
  • Behavioral evaluation of our own AI — Sofia answer quality, ticket-triage accuracy, listing-extraction accuracy: “does the agent behave consistently”, which is distinct from functional correctness.

Must-have (real production experience)

  • 2+ years testing software that runs in production with real users — you have caught issues that genuinely mattered.
  • Strong test design and adversarial / edge-case thinking; you reason about intent, not just steps.
  • Hands-on automation: experience with an e2e/integration framework (Playwright / Cypress or similar) and the ability to write test code (JavaScript / TypeScript preferred).
  • Clear written bug reports and reproductions; comfortable in a ticket-driven workflow.
  • Detail-oriented, product-minded, and healthily skeptical of code that merely “looks right”.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience testing AI / LLM features or evaluating model outputs.
  • API testing, CI test pipelines, performance or accessibility testing.
  • Familiarity with Vietnamese-language products and the real-estate / payments domain.

An entry-level role for someone starting their software-testing career. At HiFriendz, verification is the primary human quality gate for AI-generated code — so it's one of the best places to learn what great QA looks like. You'll work alongside our senior engineer and experienced testers, learning to think adversarially about software that 2,000+ sales agents and their customers rely on every day.

What you’ll do

  • Write, run and maintain test cases for features and bug fixes under guidance.
  • Do manual and exploratory testing across the listings, search, deposits/CRM and customer-support flows; reproduce and report issues clearly through the ticket system.
  • Learn to read acceptance criteria and verify changes against them — including AI-generated changes.
  • Help check our AI's behavior (e.g. Sofia answers, ticket triage) and flag inconsistencies.
  • Grow into automated testing and ownership of regression areas over time.

Must-have (real production experience)

  • A genuine interest in software quality and an eye for detail — you notice when something is “off”.
  • Basic understanding of how web and mobile apps work, and the drive to learn testing methodically.
  • Clear written communication for bug reports and reproduction steps.
  • Comfortable working in a ticket-driven workflow and with English-language documentation.
  • 0–1 years of experience — recent graduates and career-switchers welcome. An internship, personal projects, or a testing course is a plus but not required.

Nice-to-have

  • Any exposure to test automation (Playwright / Cypress / Selenium) or scripting (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python).
  • Curiosity about AI / LLMs and how to test them.
  • Familiarity with Vietnamese-language products and the real-estate / payments domain.
